Power on the printer and access the network settings. This can usually be done through the control panel or the printer's web interface.
Look for the MAC address field or label. It may be labeled as Ethernet MAC or Physical Address.
Write down or copy the MAC address, as it may be required when setting up the printer on a network.
The MAC address is formatted as a series of 12 characters, separated by colons (XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX).

Tags
The ePRINTit SaaS portal offers you a range of functions that save time and effort. These functions also include tags. Tags can be created and assigned to a device so that the respective user can be found more easily using the filter.
For example, you can create a tag “canon” and assign this tag to all devices that are related to it. Afterwards, you can filter all the canon-relevant devices and get an overview of which device are currently in the canon filter. Since anyone can create a tag, it is best to think of a system beforehand so that there is a structure and clear overview.
Status
The device status field is used to indicate the current status of a device. This field is essential for keeping track of device activity.
To update the device status, you can use the toggle field. The available options are:
Active: The device is currently active.
Inactive: The device has been deactivated.
